The Riverchase Teen Ministry is based on spiritual growth, service to others, and relationships with all. Our Youth Minister, Scott Pruitt, serves alongside our Youth Deacons, Mike Clemmons, Donnie Turrentine, Landy Clendenon, and Jeff Speegle. We seek to grow closer to God through acts of service, bible classes, and fun activities together. We seek to grow closer to man through spiritual events, service opportunities, and more! We have over 130 different teens who spend their time serving God and man and we hope and pray that you will join us as we grow closer to HIM. God bless!

It is a primary goal to help our teens learn how to correctly handle God’s Word (II Timothy 2:15). We want our teens to learn how to read and study God’s word, live God’s word, and share God’s word. Our opportunities for Spiritual Growth begin on Sunday morning and Wednesday nights. Sunday morning classes are divided into single grade classes. On Wednesdays, we meet in the family life center before breaking up into small groups. Each small group consists of an adult leader, a teen leader, and a teen co-leader in training. Sunday morning curriculum is heavily focused on Scripture (i.e. study of the book of James). Wednesday classes are more topical oriented and are planned months in advance.

"It is not about us. It is about HIM!"

Our focus for this year (2010) is, "It is not about us. It is about HIM." This provides a constant reminder of why we are here, who we serve, and what we are all called to do. Our teens will be heavily involved in service activities throughout the entire year and having this focus will allow us to constantly remember that Jesus died for ALL. We hope and pray for Gods guidance and wisdom in this years activities!  

The Riverchase Teens never stop moving! Our calendar contains opportunities for our teens to grow spiritually and as people. Our service activities include feeding the homeless, visiting local congregations, meals on wheels, Rainbow Omega, and more! We participate in a week long VBS Mission trip to Elkhorn, Wisconsin along with our own VBS at Riverchase. We have teens that attend CYC (Gatlinburg, TN), UPLIFT, RUSH, Evangelism University, Big House and more! We have teens involved in international missions in Guatemala and Brazil. We are constantly looking for more ways to serve God. Come and join us!

The Riverchase Church of Christ is a Christ centered congregation of God's people. We believe Jesus is the Son of God. We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God. We strive to be people who belong to Jesus and our aim is to be guided by His will and to follow the perfect example He left for us. We realize we are far from perfect in our attempt to follow Jesus, and we gratefully acknowledge that we are saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus. We understand we can only be right as we submit in faithful obedience to the will of God as given through His Son, Jesus Christ. We invite you to come and worship with us.
