During this past summer, the Riverchase Teens decided to sponsor (as a youth group) 10 children from Guatemala. Riverchase has had a long standing relationship with Health Talents International and thus we decided to use their ABC childrens program to do so.The cost is $30 per child and thus, we found ourselves needing to raise and give $300 a month.

I love these teens so much for this commitement. They have not stopped or given up. They have given, and given, and given. What is so amazing about this whole concept is the idea that kids (teens) can have a massive impact on others lives. So often we find teens and kids being told what all they cant do. "Dont do that" and "You are too young" are common statements heard by many a teen. But not here.

They made a commitment and have met that commitment to this day. Four months have passed and we even have money in reserve. They have already raised well over $1500 for these kids and continue to give cheerfully and lovingly. I just love watching these teens change the world one dollar at a time.

These teens will inspire a whole new generation.
